The pro-poor rural communities, living under poverty line, are generally not in position to afford for education, safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and biodiversity conservation. Conservation Nepal has the principles, based on the values of human rights, social inclusion, equality and respect for diversity.
Conservation Nepal’s major aims for community development are to:
- supports communities to use their own local resources to improve the quality of their life.
- helps communities to work collectively and unitedly to improve services and the decision making processes they have been practicing.
